The Orenburg Region is one of Russia's key agricultural regions. And we, as a plant located here in Kuvandyk, have a unique advantage: we are local, one of your own. Not somewhere far away, but right here, next to your fields, farms and enterprises.
Today we will tell you what is happening in the region's agricultural sector and why working with a local producer is profitable and reliable.
The Orenburg Region means:
🌾 4.3–4.4 million hectares of sown area in 2026;
🌾 Of these, over 2.2 million ha are grain and leguminous crops;
🌾 726 thousand ha are winter crops, including 670.5 thousand ha of wheat;
🌾 1.84 million ha are spring grain crops, of which 452 thousand ha are allocated to durum wheat.
The region is maintaining its crop structure and expects a grain harvest no lower than the long-term average — 3.7 million tonnes. Last year, more than 4 million tonnes of grain were harvested.
The region's farmers are actively renewing their machinery fleet. Since the beginning of 2026, machinery and equipment worth a total of 5.9 billion rubles have been purchased, exceeding last year's figure.
Purchases include:
• 233 tractors
• 113 combine harvesters
• 14 forage harvesters
• 289 units of other machinery and equipment
An interesting fact: half of the new tractors are high-powered, with more than 230 horsepower. This shows farmers' commitment to using high-performance machinery on difficult soils.
Dairy farming in the Orenburg Region is developing in 25 districts. In the first half of 2026, the region's agricultural enterprises produced 83.5 thousand tonnes of milk.
Every day farmers obtain an average of 510.5 tonnes of output, and the productivity of the dairy herd reached 15.6 kg per head. The leaders in milk yield remain the Severny, Saraktashsky and Novosergievsky districts.
We are part of this agro-industrial complex. The Silicon-Magnesium Plant is not just an enterprise, but a real step toward the technological sovereignty of the region's agriculture.
