Colleagues, our dear veterans, partners!
They say chemistry is the science of transformations. But the main transformation happens not in flasks and reactors, but here, among people. From raw materials — into fertilizers, from ore — into granules, from ideas — into results.
Today, on Chemist's Day, I want to say a simple but sincere thank you to each of you.
To the foreman who does not leave until the shift's work is done. To the process engineer who sees the process inside and out. To the laboratory technician who checks the quality of every kilogram. To the logistics specialist who ships our magnesium to where it is needed. To the veteran who passed on his experience and teaches us not to cut corners.
You are the plant. Without you, the walls, pipes, and equipment are just metal.
We have come all the way from start-up to the first tonnes, from the first shipment to the first letters of appreciation from our partners. And every step is yours.
I am proud to work with you. Proud that together we are doing meaningful work. Proud that our magnesium goes to fields, feed, and baths — wherever it brings benefit.
I wish you health — so that you have strength for everything. Warmth in your families — so that you have a place to return to after your shift. And simple human happiness — without formulas or calculations.
Happy holiday, our dear chemists!
Sincerely,
Oleg Vladimirovich Sitak
General Director of Silicon-Magnesium Plant JSC
