Our delegation's business program in Tashkent continues. Today brought a key event for the entire bilateral economic agenda.

Oleg Vladimirovich Sitak, General Director of Silicon-Magnesium Plant JSC, took part in the Joint Meeting of the Uzbek-Russian and Russian-Uzbek Business Councils.

What is this event?
It is the main dialogue platform for the business communities of the two countries. It brings together the top executives of the largest corporations, heads of ministries and government agencies to discuss strategic projects and systemic issues of trade and economic cooperation. Participation in such a meeting is a recognition of the company's standing and its role in developing the export potential of the Orenburg region.

Why is this important for us?
🔹 A top-level agenda. Oleg Vladimirovich represented the interests not only of the plant but of the regional industrial sector as a whole, conveying to colleagues from Uzbekistan the capabilities of Russian mineral fertilizer producers.
🔹 Removing barriers. The meeting addressed issues of simplifying logistics, certification and market access. For our partners, this means more predictable and convenient delivery terms.
🔹 New horizons. It is precisely at venues like this that systemic agreements are born, which later turn into major contracts. Our recent agreement with the Korean-Uzbek cluster (50,000 ha!) is a direct result of work in this direction.

Participation in the Joint Meeting sends a signal to the market: the Silicon-Magnesium Plant is a reliable player that operates at the international level and is ready for large-scale dialogue.
