GREENING KUVANDYK: The Silicon-Magnesium Plant plants pyramidal poplars along the Muldakai stream

Friends, spring is a time not only for cleanup days, but also for good deeds that will last for years to come.

Employees of the Silicon-Magnesium Plant carried out an environmental campaign along the picturesque Muldakai stream. The bank line has now been transformed: pyramidal poplars have been planted here — slender, fast-growing and very hardy.

Why poplars, and why right here?
🌳 Bank reinforcement. The poplars' root system binds the soil very effectively, preventing the stream banks from crumbling during flood periods.
🌳 Wind protection. A green wall of these pyramidal beauties will become a natural shield for the adjacent areas.
🌳 Aesthetics. You must agree, walking or simply driving past the Muldakai will become far more pleasant when neat "green candles" line the stream.

A few figures:
A total of 65 saplings were planted. Each one has a closed root system to ensure the highest survival rate. The young trees were protected with wooden lattices.

We do not just produce fertilizers for the fields. We make the land we live on cleaner and more welcoming.
