Meeting on Spring Field Work

On April 3, 2026, a meeting on carrying out spring field work at the agricultural enterprises of the Kuvandyk municipal district was held at the Kuvandyk City Administration.

The meeting was attended by:
• P.A. Pakhomov — Head of the Kuvandyk Urban District;
• O.V. Tregubova — Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Orenburg Region;
• E.N. Ermolaeva — representative of the Ministry of Agriculture;
• R.M. Makhmutov — Deputy Head for the Agro-Industrial Complex, Head of the Agriculture Department;
• O.V. Sitak — General Director of Silicon-Magnesium Plant JSC;
• representatives of agricultural enterprises of the Kuvandyk district.

R.M. Makhmutov delivered a report on the work done in 2025 and presented the plans for 2026. Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Orenburg Region O.V. Tregubova spoke about state support for agricultural producers: what support measures were provided in 2025, and also informed the participants about state support measures for agricultural producers, including the changes to the application procedure that took effect in 2026.

Great interest was drawn by O.V. Sitak's presentation on the plant's work in producing magnesium fertilizers. The enterprise has already produced 2,000 tonnes of products in the first quarter, 1,500 tonnes of which have been shipped. The plant has obtained registration of its agrochemical and feed additive — this opens up new opportunities for local farmers.

The plant manufactures the following types of products:
• magnesium sulfate heptahydrate;
• magnesium sulfate monohydrate;
• complex magnesium fertilizers.

The benefits of magnesium fertilizers were covered in detail for their use:
• in grain crops;
• in vegetable crops;
• as a feed additive for farm animals.

The meeting participants took a tour of the plant: they saw how the fertilizers are produced and inspected the finished products warehouse. Now farmers will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the new fertilizers as early as this season!
